KUALA LUMPUR: The Employees Provident Fund (EPF) has extended the deadline for companies to submit their mandatory contributions by another two weeks for September to December.
In a statement issued on Monday, it said the extension was from the 15th of each month to the 30th.
The EPF had previously provided the extension from April until August, to ease the burden of employers due to the uncertainties caused by the Covid-19 pandemic.
“The continuation of this flexibility is in line with the government’s recent announcement to extend the Recovery Control Movement Order (RMCO) until Dec 31,2020, ” it said.
Contribution payments can be made on the EPF website via the i-Akaun (employer) portal, Internet banking or by visiting the appointed banks.
